About the role
Join ONSIDE and discover the role as a Community Mental Health Link Worker and work within an organisation and be part of team of professionals working closely with the Mental Health Neighbourhood Teams, to support individuals experiencing mental ill health by signposting and linking them up to all elements of treatment and support.
A Community Mental Health Link Worker helps individuals navigate both primary and secondary mental health services, local health and social care and wider community options and provides individuals with support through their recovery journey.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who has experience of working positively with individuals and supporting them with mental ill health and has the ability to build trust with people. Someone who has an understanding and knowledge on the impact poor mental health can have on a person’s life and the complex social and emotional challenges they may face.
A Community Mental Health Link Worker will need great communication and organisation skills. And can be someone who has experience of mentoring or coaching and may have experience in facilitating one-to-one and group support.
