Are you passionate about mental health, housing support, and helping people maintain stable tenancies? We’re looking for a Housing Community Mental Health Link Worker to join our growing team in Redditch.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults experiencing housing insecurity, poor mental health, and complex social challenges, helping prevent homelessness and improve wellbeing.
About the role
Join ONSIDE as a Housing Community Mental Health Link Worker. You will work closely with Housing Associations, NHS services, and community partners to provide person-centred mental health and housing support.
You will:
- Support residents experiencing mental ill health, housing instability, and wider wellbeing needs
- Help sustain tenancies and reduce the risk of homelessness
- Act as a link between housing services, primary care, secondary mental health services, and drug & alcohol services
- Support individuals to overcome barriers to accessing mental health and wellbeing support
- Deliver one-to-one support and contribute to group-based interventions where appropriate
This role plays a vital part in addressing the social determinants of mental health within the community.

Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting individuals with mental health needs, complex needs, or wellbeing challenges
- Can build trust and engage positively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Understands how poor mental health can affect daily life, relationships, and housing stability
- Has strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- May have experience in mentoring, coaching, or delivering one-to-one and group support
Experience in housing support, community mental health, homelessness prevention, or social care is highly desirable.
